Wheatley Unable to Solve McBride

Wednesday evening at the Shark Tank the shots were even, but the boys couldn’t solve Essex 73 netminder Adrian McBride. They fired 25 shots on the Essex net but came away empty in a 3-0 loss. Gabe Piccolo scored 2 for the 73’s.
The two teams will hold a rematch Tuesday January 9th at the Essex Arena, gametime 7:00pm. With loss the Sharks remain three points behind Blenheim in the battle for third place. Wheatley does hold two games in hand on the Blades.
