The Wheatley Omstead Sharks hammered the visiting Walpole Island Wild 7-1 in Wheatley on Wednesdaay February 14th. A Valentines Day crowd of 210 watched the Sharks build a 2-0 lead on a pair of goals from Brady Drouillard in the first period. They added three in the second frame walking away from the Wild in the tame affair. Braedon Caetano had two in the second with Brayden Metcalfe adding a single. Vito Alfonso and Kyle Bleau rounded out the scoring in the third.
Please join us Saturday at the Shark Tank when the Essex 73,s come into town to tackle the Sharks at 4:30pm.The 73,s and the Lakeshore Canadiens are currently in a battle for the Stobb,s Division crown. Our Sharks are settled into fourth place, with only roughly a week left in the regular season. The Sharks will be facing the Mooretown Flags in the opening round of the playoffs.
