The Wheatley Omstead Sharks swept their Stobbs division quarter final playoff series against Amherstburg Admirals.
The Sharks got off to strong start in Game 1 blanking the Admirals 7-0. Game 2 was a closer contested game with the Sharks securing a 5-2 victory & 2 game lead in the series. Game 3 saw a highly entertaining back & forth battle with the Sharks pre-vailing 6-5 in front of charged up Saturday afternoon Wheatley crowd. The Sharks then travelled to Amherstburg for Game 4, and finished the series with a 6-2 effort on the road.
Wheatley will now face Lakeshore in the Stobbs semi-final in a rematch of last season. Schedule to be announced shortly.
