The Wheatley Omstead Sharks managed to obtain one point in a pair of games against the top two teams in the league this week. Tuesday , in Essex the league leading 73,s opened up a fairly close game with three goals in the third period to win 6-1.Klyle Bleau scored his 8th of the season in the defeat.
The next evening in Wheatley the Sharks held a 3-1 lead entering the third period against the 2nd place Blenheim Blades but couldnt hang on losing the contest by a 4-3 margin in overtime. Scoring for the Sharks in this one was Kyle Bleau (9th), Colton Selwood (3rd) and Captain Jaydon Ferguson with his first of the campaign.
