Josh Chauvin scored an empty net goal (7th) at 19:21 of the third period that at the time gave Wheatley a 3-1 lead. The Walpole Wild put a scare into the over 250 fans in the arena scoring at 19:51 to make it a one goal lead. Fortunately for the Sharks they were able to hang on for the victory. The win moved the Sharks into 5th place momentarily 2 points behind the Mooretown Flags and 1 point up on the Dresden Kings.Wheatley’s next action will be at league leading Essex 73’s on Tuesday November 25th , followed by a home game with the currently 2nd place Blenheim Blades the following evening –game time 730pm.
