The 73’s from Essex visited the Shark Tank Wednesday January 29th and left with a 4-0 shutout over the home team from Wheatley. The Sharks really didnt seem to have much battle in them as Essex scored a pair in the first period and added two more in the second. The third period was scoreless. Jaxen Drysdale played a solid game in the nets for the Sharks stopping 38 of 42 shots fired his way.
Next action for the Sharks will be Wednesday February 5th vs Mooretown Flags game time 7:30pm
The battle for third and fourth place will be in the midst of the action as the season is quickly coming to a close. As of this writng the Sharks are precariously holding onto third place with Amherstburg, Mooretown and Blenheim all chasing them down.
