The Amherstburg Admirals were coming off a 1-0 nailbiting victory over our Omstead Sharks from Sunday evening in Amherstburg. Wednesday, in the Shark Tank those same Admirals took a 7-0 shellacking from the hometown Wheatley Omstead Sharks. Kyle Bleau scored 17 seconds into the contest and the Sharks never looked back until Bleau finished the scoring at the 14:00 minute mark of the third. Wheatley had goals by Stefan Jacobs, with two, Owen Papulkas, Vito Alfano and Seth Zylstra in between Bleau,s tallies.Jaxon Drysdale stopped all 29 shots he faced to earn the shutout.
Next action for Wheatley is in Blenheim, Saturday November 16th, 6:00PM The Blades will honor Captain Craig Spence’s memory by retiring his #10 jersey. Craig will always be remembered and sadly missed by all in the PJHL. R.I.P. Captain Craig
