The Wheatley Omstead Sharks ended a two game losing streak by defeating the Blenheim Blades by a score of 6-3.The visitors from Wheatley had built a 3-1 lead after two periods only to see the Blades tie the score at 3 5:42 into the third period. The Sharks readied the ship answering with three tallies of their own to win going away 6-3.
Scorers for Wheatley were Braydin Metcalfe, Stefan Jacobs, Josh Chauvin and Braeden Armstrong with singles with Assistant Captain Vito Alfano notching a pair.Gaining assists on the evening were Owen Palpulkus and Grant Symons with 2 each along with Jacobs, Alfano and Kyle Bleau adding 1 each. Also of note was the stellar play of goaltender Ethan Handley making his first start of the young season, making 30 saves in the contest.
