A trio of goals in eighty five seconds, two by Jake Eaton carried the Omstead Sharks to a close 6-5 victory Wednesday evening in Wheatley over the Mooretown Flags. Other scorers for the home team were Josh Bleau, Braedon Caetano and Brady Drouillard. Isaac Legood scored the winner at the halfway mark of the closing frame for the Sharks.
Jaxon Drysdale picked up the win in goal replacing starter Ethan Handley who left the game trailing 4-1 at the 8:05 mark of the middle period. It was a quiet affair with only ten minutes in penalties, eight to the visitors being called.
Next action for the Sharks is Sunday October 15th in Amherstburg 7:00pm start.
