Wheatley Sharks Sniper Loses in Bid for MVP honors in PJHL Allstar Weekend

On Saturday December 28th the Provincial Junior Hockey League held a Stobbs Division Allstar squad vs the Yeck Division Stars. The game was played in the Stobb’s Home of Dresden Ontario.The Yeck team scored 2 minutes iinto the game , but eventually were shellacked by the Stobb’s crew by a score of 8-5.Pointgeters for the Stobbs squad were as follows.
Vito Alfano–3 goals, 3 assists–Sharks
Stefane Jacobs–1goal, 1 assists–Sharks
Marco Sladoje–1 goal, 4 assists–Canadiens
Trevor Larue–2 goals, 3 assists–Canadiens
Austin Guevrement–1 goal—73s
Patrick McManus–2 assists—73s

Vito and Stefane you should be commended for being selected to the allstar game by all Shark fans. Vito,also, congrats for your efforts.If only the decision for MVP award was focused on the efforts of the game and not reputation.No offence to Marco, he is fine young man, but maybe it was the time the league threw some accolades elsewhere than the top two dynasties.
