Two Road Victories for The Sharks

Scores a pair this week

The Wheatley Omstead Sharks are trying to help themselves in obtaining a third place finish in the Stobbs Divsion of the PJHL. This weekend the club managed a pair of victories over teams that are in pursuit. Saturday, in Mooretown , it took a shootout goal from Kyle Bleau for the Sharks to nip the Flags 5-4 in overtime. Goal scorers in the game were Stephan Jacobs (19), Darian Dufour(7),Aidan Hill(4), and Owen Papulkus(3) before Bleaus heriocs. Ethan Handley made 30 saves in the net earning the victory.

Sunday in Blenheim the boys were looking for revenge on a 3-1 defeat to Blenheim on home ice this past Wednesday. Kyle Bleau lead the charges with a pair of goals in this one. they were his 20th and 21st goals of the season. Also scoring for the Sharks were newcomer Jake Blanchette (1), Jaydon Ferguson (4), Mitchell Hickson (2) and Braydin Metcalfe(4). Jaxen Drysdale earned the victory in net for the Sharks stopping 32 shots fired his way.
