Sharks Nipped in OT

Sunday evening  the Sharks traveled to Blenheim to take on the 3-0 Blades. These two teams are very evenly matched as the score would indicate. Wheatley held leads of 1-0 , 2-1 and 3-2 before Justin Ewald tied the score at 3 with 8:47 left in regulation. He then would score the winning goal at the 1:46 mark of overtime for his 3rd goal of the game and winner.The goal scorers for the Sharks were Shannon Olson with a pair and linemate Braedon Caetano with a single tally. Goaltender Ethan Handley was credited with 27 saves in the heartbreaking loss.
