Late in the third period Sharks 2008 rookie Grant Symons notched his first and game winning goal on the road in Walpole Island. This contest was a seesaw affair with the Wild taking leads of 1-0 and 2-1 before Josh Chauvin tied the score late in the second period, setting the table for Symons heroics.Chauvin and Stefan Jacobs had the helpers on the winner. Jacobs had the other two goals for the Omstead Sharks who now have 3 and 2 record on the young season.
Next action for the Sharks will be Wednesday September 25th vs the Lakeshore Canadiens @ Wheatley Area Arena, 7:00pm start.
