Great Effort Not Producing Points

The Sharks played some inspired hockey this past week but have nothing to show for it in the win column. At the Shark Tank on Wednesday December 17th Amherstburg rode in and out of town with a 2-0 victory. The winning goal was actually inadvertantly directed past Wheatley tender Ethan Davis by his own defenceman.

On Saturday the Sharks played probably the best two periods of the season carrying a 2-1 lead into the third period against the high flying first place Essex 73s only to eventually giving up 4 third period Essex goals , losing the contest 5-2.

The Sharks will be ready to roar back into action after the Christmas Season when they travel to Mooretown on Saturday January 3rd, game time 730pm. The next home game will be Wednesday January 7th when the Dresden Kings will be the opposition.

Pictured below is Matt Saddler, a very talented young man who sings the National Anthem exceptionally well suffering from autissm. Matt has now visited 59 of the 62 teams in the PJHL and doesnt plan on quitting anytime soon, planning on hitting other leaugues in Ontario. Joining Matt in the picture is Shark staffer Terry Quick. Job well done Matt!!!!! NO—-Terry could NOT aid Matt in any way performing the anthem.
