Canadiens Nip Sharks

The hometown Lakeshore Canadiens handed the Wheatley Omstead Sharks their initial loss of the season Friday evening in Belle River.The home team scored 2 powerplay goals and an even strength tally in the first period to build a 3-0 lead the Sharks could not recover from. Wheatley played hard the rest of the way with goals from Brendan Gouin and Gavin Wasylyk but it wasn’t enough as they fell by a 4-2 final score.Adam Flanagan , again, played well in the nets for the Sharks.
